PARK Racquet Club Pty Ltd ("PARK", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information we collect from members, players, visitors and website users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following personal information:

• Name, date of birth and gender
• Email address, phone number and postal address
• Emergency contact and basic medical information relevant to safe participation
• Payment details (processed via our third-party payment provider, we do not store full card numbers)
• Booking, membership, attendance and coaching history
• Images and video captured at our venues or events
• Website usage data, IP address, device and cookie data

2. How We Collect It

We collect information directly when you register, book a court, sign up for a session, purchase a membership, enquire via our website, subscribe to our newsletter, or attend a PARK venue or event. We also collect information automatically when you use our website (via cookies and analytics tools) and from authorised third parties such as our booking and coaching partners.

3. How We Use It

• To manage bookings, memberships, coaching and events
• To communicate with you about your account, bookings and changes
• To process payments, refunds and credits
• To provide marketing and newsletter content where you have opted in
• To improve our venues, programs, website and member experience
• To meet safety, insurance, legal and regulatory obligations

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with: our coaching partners (e.g. Tennis For Kids, Padel Brisbane) to deliver programs you have registered for; our booking, payment and email service providers; professional advisors and insurers; and government or law enforcement bodies where required by law.

5. Marketing & Newsletter

If you opt in to our newsletter or marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or by contacting us at hello@thepark.club.

6. CCTV & Photography

CCTV is in operation at our venues for safety and security. We may also capture photos and video at PARK events for promotional use. If you do not want to appear in promotional material, please let our staff know on the day or email hello@thepark.club.

7. Data Security & Retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes set out above or to meet legal obligations.

8. Children's Privacy

Where a participant is under 18, we collect information from a parent or legal guardian and only use it to deliver the program or service requested.

9. Access, Correction & Complaints

You may request access to or correction of the personal information we hold about you at any time. To make a request, raise a privacy complaint, or ask a question about this policy, email hello@thepark.club. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

10. The PARK App

When you create an account in the PARK app we collect your name, email address, mobile number and the bookings, programs and memberships you hold. The app also records device and usage data (device type, operating system, app version, crash reports and in-app activity) so we can keep the app working and improve it.

If you allow it, the app may use your device location to show your nearest PARK club, and send push notifications about your bookings and club news. You can turn either off at any time in your device settings without losing access to your account.

App account data is held for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information by emailing hello@thepark.club.

11. Waitlists and Email Updates

Where a PARK club has not opened yet, we offer an email waitlist. We collect your email address, and your first name where you give it, for the single purpose of sending you news about that club, including its opening date, memberships and launch offers. We do not sell or rent these addresses, and we do not add waitlist contacts to unrelated marketing.

Waitlist and newsletter emails are sent with your consent under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and every message carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from that list; you can ask us to delete your address entirely by emailing hello@thepark.club.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on our website.
